September was busy

 We started September off by doing some demolition on the siding on one side of our house. We had to replace the back door into the garage, and the siding was pretty soft. We found enough siding in the crawl space (bonus!!) to use on that side of the house. The boys loved being part of this process, especially the demolition. :) 

 Trying to decide on paint colors. We ultimately went with the brown at the top. 

 Our neighbor invited us over to ride their horse, Nacho. Devon has been scared of horses ever since we moved here. So scared that we couldn't get close to them while holding him, or he would scream in fear. So, we weren't sure what he would do. I got on Nacho, and Tyler handed Devon up. He held on to the saddle horn and was perfectly content. After a quick lap around the pasture, we stopped. Devon immediately said, "More!" And we had to pry him off the saddle. We would have let him stay on, but it was getting dark quickly. The other boys loved riding as well, and had such big smiles on their faces!

 Tyler went on an overnight campout with the scouts. They camped near Snoqualmie Pass, and then went for a bike ride on the Iron Horse Trail before they came home. There is a 3 mile tunnel that they rode through. The end of the tunnel is that light under Tyler's bike seat.

 We went for a walk down to the Stillaguamish River one Sunday evening. No matter how cold it is, they ALWAYS get wet. Kaden and Jaren managed to stay mostly dry, but Devon fell backwards once and Clayton was just being crazy and got soaked. They had fun making a little dam next to the bank.

 Almost done - this is just one coat of paint. The trim still needs to be painted, but we'll do that next summer when we repaint the rest of the house.

I'm loving spending time with this kiddo when all of his brothers are at school. He's so much fun!
