Introduced all my boys to an elephant ear. Clayton was the only one that asked, "is it really an ear from an elephant??"
I checked on these two one night and they were laying in front of the fan, since it had been a warm day, and yet they were cuddled in their blankets. Huh??
Kaden got his first black eye - the back of someone's head got him right on the bone underneath his eye. Ten days later, the coloring is just starting to return to normal.
Jaren likes to snuggle with Devon in bed. I think they were reading books together and then fell asleep. We have a plan for making them bed frames...and replacing the lovely carpet...eventually.
The boys caught this lizard in the garage, and kept it as their pet for a few hours. We have seen quite a few of them in the last week or so.
Devon and his little friend sharing their snacks. They are 4 months apart and are so fun to watch. I baby sit her and her brother a few times a month. We like having friends over to play!
Devon getting into the legos. He tries to play so nicely with them, but his older brothers always freak out whenever they see him touching their stuff. Sometimes, he does break them, but other times, he is surprisingly nice and gentle with them.
We went on a Sunday afternoon walk to the Skagit wildlife refuge, to help Kaden pass something off for scouts. We saw lots of different birds, an eagle nest, and ended it by throwing some rocks in the river. The boys wanted to swim, but the tide was coming in so quickly, this Mom was a little nervous.
Summer is definitely going by too quickly!
