Everyone loved it!

Took him a second...he had just woken up from a late nap, to a houseful of friends. A few minutes to warm up and he shoved that cake in his mouth.

More? He has started using hand gestures to ask for things. 

It's fun to have him communicate with us without screaming. :)

Mmm...this present looks like something good to eat, too.

We missed having Tyler here with us. Some friends came over to celebrate, which was fun. At least we get to do video calls, so Tyler was able to sing Devon Happy Birthday all the way from Germany. 

We sure do love this little guy. His personality is showing more and more each day. He loves the broom, the vacuum, the lawnmower, airplanes, water, rocks, dirt, and food. It seems that he just can't get enough to eat this last week. Part of me wonders if that's because he is finally getting his full appetite back after being sick with pneumonia at the beginning of the month. Or maybe he is just hitting a growth spurt. Regardless, he is eating a lot!
