We took a quick drive to a local beach one warm afternoon. We weren't planning on swimming, but I should have realized that I wouldn't be able to keep them out of the water. We were in regular clothes, with no towels or extra dry clothes. Oops.
Devon wasn't too sure what to think of the cool, wet sand at first. And then he discovered the water and was in heaven!
Too much fun!
We'll have to visit this beach again, since it actually has sand, and not just rocks. I'll make sure to bring swim gear this time.

Way cute! I can't imagine it being warm enough to play in the lake. And Devon is even tasting the sand. What a fun day!
