We went with some friends up to Mt Vernon to the Paccar Technical Open House. They open up their facilities once a year to walk through and see what they do there. We were all very impressed, especially the engineer in the family. Tyler had wanted to go fishing that day, but instead we decided to go up there. He said it was worth it. Success!!
They also have a car and truck show, with people bringing in their vehicles to see.
A friend in our ward drives a tanker truck and he was there with his truck. Since we know him, he let the kids climb up and sit in the drivers seat for a bit, something that they couldn't do with any of the other trucks. That smile on Jaren's face is the best!
Inside, they had all their building/engineering models on for display, plus some local high school and college teams with their vehicles. It was a very fun day for the boys.
