my review of this hike:
5.5 miles round trip
1300 ft elevation gain
LOTS of snow (the last 1/3 mile)
so many beautiful waterfalls
awesome kids that walked the entire way
(except for Clayton, of course)
my favorite quote from this pirate boy:
"wanna throw snowman!"
(meaning a ball of snow)
Last Saturday was the warmest day of the year so far, so it was nice to get into the mountains again. This was a really good hike, and definitely do-able for our kids.

Clayton's face in the second pic seems to be saying "you all have to walk and I don't! Muahahaha!" My girls would have totally wimped out from getting wet. Gordon would have loved a hike like that though.
