We went camping a few weekends ago at the church property, and woke up to frost on the ground. Tyler got a fire going and we toasted banana muffins over the fire. They were really good. And something else we discovered: roasted marshmallows on ritz crackers is really good. Seriously. No chocolate, just a marshmallow between two crackers.
When the sun finally came up (our boys are early risers), it warmed up fast and ended up being a beautiful day. In the morning, we cleared some trails, and cleaned up an amphitheater with other members from the church. Then we had lunch and walked down to the river.
The boys kept asking if they could go swimming.
Hmm...maybe in a few months.

SWIMMING!? I guess boys will be boys and it doesn't matter how cold the water is sometimes! Looks like such a fun time with your family! And beautiful weather, too!
