October

 What a little ham. Whenever the camera comes out, he stops what he is doing and gives us the cutest squinty-eyed smile. Or, in this case, what you see above. :)

 Last corn-on-the-cob of the season. He loves feeding himself just like everyone else.

 And he has to be in on the action, too. Trying to climb up these stools resulted in a few tumbles, with the stool landing on top of him. He's figured it out, now, thankfully.

 Picking up all the tomatoes that had fallen off the plant, after I pulled them up. We had so many cherry tomatoes this year, and Devon was a good "helper" picking them. Ripe or not.

 We went for a drive and picnic at the beginning of October. Devon touched the small camping grill that we used and burned his hand. Thankful for first aid kits! He had some nasty blisters for about a week. 

 Clayton is in swim lessons right now. Kaden and Jaren's levels were full (which never happens), so I was worried that Clayton wouldn't want to go since he was the only one in. But he's doing awesome!

 The day before Halloween, Tyler went on a very last minute trip to Munich. They were trying to resolve issues with the airplane that he was working on over the summer. He was only gone for a week, and we are happy to have him home. Tyler was able to bring back some shirts for the boys, and Clayton wanted me to take a picture of his shirt.

This little boy has figured out how to climb. He got himself up in here and thought it was the greatest thing. Fortunately, he can get down from most of the places that he gets up to, but it still scares me when I find him on the table, or the bunk beds. He has no fear!

The last month has been busy with school, work, church activities, and trying to squeeze in some family time. We're looking forward to some down time over the holidays!
