On a rainy Saturday afternoon, we drove down south to the Ballard Locks. Tyler had heard from his friend, Jared, (the one that went fishing with him), that the sockeye were coming through the fish ladders.
These train tracks next to the parking lot are almost as enticing to the boys as the boats and the fish.
I had to wear Tyler's rain jacket since mine doesn't fit me anymore. Only about 6 weeks until baby boy should be here!
It was really fun to sit and watch the fish. We could have stayed there all day. Thankfully, it only rained a little bit right after we got there, and then it was just cloudy the rest of the afternoon.
