Just kidding. Mostly. :)
We went to a pond just a few minutes away from our house that had been stocked the weekend before for a kid's fishing day. Each one of the boys were able to catch a fish, so they were happy.
Clayton asked, "Is the fish asleep?" I about told him yes, but didn't, since we were going to cook them for lunch the next day.
That Saturday, Memorial Day weekend, was beautiful! We took the boat out for the first time this year to Riley Lake. Jaren had just lost a tooth and he was the only one to catch anything. So he was feeling pretty special!
Not too big, and we let him go, which Jaren was a little bummed about.
It was nice to be out in the sunshine as a family!

Cool! Someone on my Facebook feed who moved to Spanaway last year commented that it seems they sing the "sunshine" hymns a lot in church, and figured it's a prayer to ask for some sun. That made me smile.
